The City of Williamsport is looking for qualified Construction Inspection services for the Subject construction project (The City's Paving Project) for this year (2022). The contract runs from Spring to Fall. These services include inspection services up to and including daily, as needed. The Paving Project was awarded to Big Rock Paving recently. Paving operations will be for the City of Williamsport, while WMWA and UGI also utilize our paving contract. The City's paving locations are scattered through-out the City. The Inspection firm will report to the City Engineer and the Director of Streets and Parks. Asphalt and Concrete field testing (compaction, material acceptance, concrete cylinders, etc.) will NOT be required for this project. Daily quality inspection services are required. Qualified firms shall submit the following: A short form proposal, up to approx 7 pages that accurately shows your firm's interest and qualifications. Key inspection personnel, with relevant experience. A break down of costs for this proposal (mileage, inspection services, etc). Any legal general conditions (as attachments/appendix, etc.) Award to the winning firm will NOT be based on low cost only, it will be based on COST and QUALIFICATIONS.
