In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheet pile weir construction, tile installation, CMP water control structure, and seeding. This project includes around 20,320 cubic yards of earthwork, 2,188 square feet of steel sheet pile, 135 linear feet of tile installation, 430 tons of crushed stone, 85 cubic yards of grout, and 8.2 acres of seeding The estimated construction cost range for this project is $300,000 to $350,000. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All work except for seeding must be completed by November 15, 2022, and the seeding must be completed by December 16, 2022.
