Renovation of an educational facility in Stanwood, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
The scope of work for this project includes the abatement of hazardous materials, removal of windows and all necessary associated elements including but not limited to metal trim, blocking, sealant and interior finishes. Replacement windows as specified with trim, blocking, interior and exterior components as shown on drawings, and interior finishes. All windows to include roller shades UNO, and all operable windows to include screens. Base bid to include all windows and associated work as shown on the south, west and east building elevations of Building A, plus replacement blinds on north elevation of Building A as noted. Alternate #1 to include all windows shown on the north elevation of Building A. Estimated Cost: $875,000.00 Project Schedule: Time is of the essence to complete this scope during the 2023 summer break. A Notice to Proceed will be issued upon receipt of the required insurance and bond documents, and onsite work can begin on or around June 20, 2023. Work must be substantially complete by August 24, 2023, with final completion by September 22, 2023. Bonds: A bid, performance, and payment bond is required; the cost is to be included in the bid. Prevailing Wages: Per RCW 39.12.020 prevailing wages are applicable to this public works project.
