Site work and paving for a civil project in Wewahitchka, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
This project includes approximately 0.82 miles of roadway paving, striping, and grassing along Old Bay City Road in Gulf County, FL. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $500 per day. Please place YOUR COMPANY NAME, SEALED BID, and the BID NUMBER on the outside of your envelope and include the original bid plus 2 copies. All bidders shall be FDOT Qualified per Section 2-1 of the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition in the following work classes: Grading, Drainage, Flexible Paving, and Hot Plant Mix-Bituminous Course. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All questions must be submitted to Clay Smallwood, P.E. at csmallwood@gulfcounty-fl.gov. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Gulf County.
