The Project consists of the repair and construction of the Fire Station previously under construction. The proposed construction includes the demolition of the existing interior slab and existing wood framing members, reconstruction of the concrete slab and interior wall framing (including a fire wall), site improvements including grading, concrete parking areas, access connections, sidewalks, landscaping, and a storm water management facility. It is the responsibility of the contractor to coordinate with the City and construct all utility service connections. Fire Station. All Bids Shall Remain Firm for a Period of Sixty Days After the Opening. All Bidders Shall Comply With All Applicable State and Local Laws Concerning Licensing Registration and Regulations of Contractors Doing Business in the State of Florida . The City of Wewahitchka Reserves the Right to Waive Informalities in Any Bid, to Accept and/or Reject Any or All Bids, and to Accept the Bid That, in Their Judgement, Will Be in the Best Interest to the City of Wewahitchka. Completion Date for This Project Will Be 240 Days (Substantial Completion) and 275 Days (Final Completion) From the Date of the Notice to Proceed Presented to the Successful Bidder. Liquidated Damages for Failure to Complete the Project on the Specified Date Will Be Set at $500.00 Per Day.
