Notice Text ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID SEBASTIAN INLET DISTRICT 2022/23 SEBASTIAN INLET NORTH AND SOUTH SHORELINE STABILIZATION PROJECT The Sebastian Inlet District (OWNER) is seeking competitive bids for the excavation and rehabilitation of approximately 655 linear feet of continuous stabilization along the northern shoreline of Sebastian Inlet. The North Shore portion of the project is just west of the Tide Pool, at the end of Cove Road. The work will cover a relic, steel sheet piling with limestone rip rap, and then repair and replace a rip rap revetment. The Construction Plans also delineate distinct areas along the South Shore that are designated for repair, starting beneath the catwalk under the A1A Bridge and proceeding west to the T-Dock. The Base Bid includes all work along the North and South Shorelines to be completed between May 2022 and August 2022. The Bid Alternate would include all work along the North and South Shorelines, but would be completed during the next fiscal year, October 2022 to August 2023, at the discretion of the OWNER. The Bid Package is available in electronic form only via www.demandstar.com. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents must be submitted to the OWNER (Sebastian Inlet District) in writing by Tuesday, March 1, 2022 to be considered. Then all attendees will proceed to the South Shoreline portion of the project. The OWNER and ENGINEER will be in attendance to answer questions and explain the intent of the Bid Documents.
