As of July 13, 2023, an engineer has been selected for the project. Bidding is estimated to take place in 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Est. Cost: $10 million to $12 Million . Boulder City (the City) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested and qualified firms for consulting services to prepare concept plans, landscape renderings, and engineering design plans for Boulder City Parkway (US93) from the Nevada Way/Buchanan Boulevard intersection to the east City limits (see attached location exhibit). The work shall include but not be limited to developing a complete street concept plan in accordance with Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) and Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) policies, layout of opportunities for safety improvements for pedestrians and cyclists, transportation engineering design including turning movements, landscape plans, utility and drainage design as required to serve the project, conducting stakeholder meetings with the public and City Council, final design plans for bidding purposes, and assistance with permitting through NDOT. Work shall also include all surveying and geotechnical work necessary for design. The firm selected will also assist the City in the selection of a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) at the 30% design level.
