Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Volo, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Village of Volo, Lake County, Illinois ("Owner"), is soliciting sealed bids from qualified construction contractors for the following project: Ellis Drive Extension The project includes the extension of Ellis Drive (new roadway construction) from Gilmer Road to US Route 12/IL Route 59 and associated improvements on US Route 12/IL Route 59 and Gilmer Road. The work consists of HMA surface and binder course pavement, HMA shoulders, full-depth pavement removal, removal and installation of storm sewers, drainage structures, curb and gutter, traffic control and protection, landscape restoration as well as other related work as shown on the plans and described in the specifications. Owner reserves the right to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder most favorable to Owner, as determined by Owner. Owner also reserves the right to reject any bid or part of a bid that does not conform to the bidding requirements or to modify or waive all formalities and technicalities in a bid, or to reject all bids. Compliance conditions are included in the bid documents.
