Site work and paving for a civil project in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.

The work associated with the construction of the Lee Avenue Stormwater Improvements Project includes the carrying out of all duties and obligations and the furnishing of all labor, material, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary or convenient to the successful completion of the project. The Lee Avenue Drainage Improvement Project is located in Betton Hills, which is an older neighborhood located in northeast Tallahassee. The existing drainage system in the project area along Lee Avenue and West Randolph Circle is inadequate to handle runoff from frequently occurring intense rainfall events. Residents along Lee Avenue, West Randolph Circle, and Trescott Drive have reported roadway flooding, erosion, yard flooding, and home flooding. The Lee Avenue Drainage Improvement Project will increase capture, inlet and conveyance capacity along Lee Avenue, West Randolph Circle, Trescott Drive, and will include construction of a new stormwater outfall pipe that will run from Lee Avenue to the McCord ditch along the pipe outfall corridor shown. The work will include regrading the existing roadways, installing drainage inlets and piping, utility adjustments, and the installation of permanent stabilization following construction. At the McCord ditch, the Lee Avenue outfall pipe will connect with the proposed box culvert that was part of the CITY's McCord Ditch Project. The CITY has obtained perpetual drainage & temporary construction easements from multiple property owners along this pipe outfall corridor. A detailed listing of pay items and quantities to be completed for this project is provide on the Bid Summary Sheets in the Proposal.
