City of Cocoa - Retrofit of Air Conditioning Units with Bi-Polar Ionizers, Citywide ITB # B-22-07-COC Documents available on website The City of Cocoa is soliciting for a contractor to retrofit air conditioning units with GPS bi-polar ionizers at all City managed facilities. Global Plasma Sterilizer is a standard in the industry. Ultra-violet light will not be accepted as an alternate due to maintenance reasons. Alternates that are "similar, like or better" will be evaluated and considered as a secondary option only. The City reserves the right to award to the primary specification. Contractors responding to this ITB must demonstrate experience and qualifications in performing work similar in size and complexity to this project. All services performed shall be in accordance with the specifications in the solicitation, which may be examined at the office of the Purchasing Manager, located at 65 Stone St., Cocoa, Florida 32922. The solicitation documents are available on-line at no charge via the City of Cocoa online bidding platform, and posted as public notice on the City's website. Installations will be performed on seventy-five (75) separate A/C units at fifteen (15) separate City facilities as detailed in Attachment E of this request. The scope of work will be as follows: 1. Install Global Plasma Solutions Bi-Polar Ionizers within the A/C units. Specific model requirements for each unit are referenced in Attachment E. 2. Perform related minor electrical work (including transformers), and other services as necessary. 3. Verify that the ionizers are working correctly. 4. Warranty parts and labor for one year. The Contractor will be escorted to the job site by Facilities staff. Working hours will be business days from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m, excluding City of Cocoa holidays.
