Demolition, site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Addison, Vermont. Completed plans call for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the construction of a 3,900-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area (DCWMA) in Addison had an existing 4100 SF equipment maintenance building that was determined structurally unsafe and subsequently removed in 2019. The need is to replace the original building with a smaller, more efficient code compliant structure in order to properly support the maintenance and operations of the wildlife management area The replacement project proposed is for a 48'w x 66'l (3168 SF) equipment storage area with a 24'w x 30'l (720 SF) heated workshop area, for an approximate new building total of 3900 SF. The preliminary replacement design was for a wood framed, wood truss clear span structure with metal panel siding and metal panel roofing. Architectural, structural, civil engineer drawings and specifications of the wood frame option are available for review. It should be noted that we prefer a steel framed, prefab-structure.
