The Addison County Regional Planning Commission is administering a 2020/2022 Environmental Conservation (DEC) Project Development Block Grant to subgrant funds to develop water quality improvement projects through October of 2023. Funds from this block grant should be used for getting landowners, municipalities and other partners on board with projects to improve water quality and to move projects towards design and implementation. Projects may either be general (such as reviewing tactical basin plans to determine where projects may be helpful) to specific (such as beginning to plan actions). All project work, invoicing and reporting must be complete by October 31, 2023. Funds should be used for getting landowners, municipalities and other partners "on board" with projects to improve water quality and to move projects towards design and implementation. ACRPC will administer a grants program to select eligible projects for funding (see eligibility criteria in the table below). All project work, invoicing and reporting must be complete by October 31, 2023. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. As of October 6, 2022, the due date and time has been confirmed with the owner.
