Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Warren, Vermont. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of November 21, 2022, this project has been cancelled due to not receiving all the required bid documents. No definite date for the rebid. Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Town of Warren for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check. LOCATION: Beginning at a point on TH3 (Covered Bridge Road), approximately 850 feet North of the intersection with VT Route 100. Extending Easterly along TH3 (Covered Bridge Road) approximately 150 feet to the intersection of TH4 (Main Street) TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes: Rehabilitation of the West abutment and wingwalls, repair of the West and East abutment bear seat caps, installation of stone fill channel protection, minor timber superstructure repairs, approach railing, approach signing and other incidental items CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract shall be completed on or before October 15, 2023 DAVIS BACON WAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bidders agree to abide by the Davis Bacon Wage Rate Schedule, which are appended to these Contract Documents. ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: For this Proposal the Engineers Estimate falls between $500,000 and $1,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
