In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 8127 (Public Law 109-461), this project is a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor, supervision, personnel, and shall do all things necessary that will result in the completion of the Correct Seismic Deficiencies B13 construction project, in accordance with the attached Specifications and Drawings. This project is located at: Marion VA Medical Center 2401 W Main St. Marion, IL 62959 VAAR Magnitude of Construction: $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 For Instructions on the upcoming site visit see amendment to be issued. Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of this solicitation for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades. Work involves upgrades to the facilities electric and IT infrastructure to allow for the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) system. The scope of this project includes but not limited to the following infrastructure improvements: electrical upgrades, bonding, UPS, Building Management System interfaces, upgrades to the existing HVAC, reconfiguration, expansion and renovation of existing closet spaces, upgrades to the communication infrastructure (new data outlets, patch panels and upgrade to Cat 6A cabling) in buildings, physical security upgrades and upgrades to the fiber infrastructure backbone campus wide. All work shall be completed in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings. The building is a 10,159 GSF, 2-story building (with basement). BID MATERIAL: Bid materials consisting of the statement of work, specifications, other attachments, and contract forms are included and/or attached as part of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The VA will not provide printed copies of the specifications or solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the bid materials in a time and manner sufficient to respond to this solicitation by the specified due date. BID GUARANTEE: A Bid Guarantee, SF 24, is required in an amount not less than 20 percent of the proposal price but shall not exceed $3,000,000. Failure to furnish the required bid guarantee in the proper form and amount, by the time set for receipt of proposals, may result in the rejection of the bid.
