Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sidney, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of a new 6' walking path along the outer edge of Robert O. New Park. Each Bid must include the required submissions per the Bid specifications and must be accompanied by either a Bid bond in an amount of 10% of the Bid amount or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid amount. A 100% Performance Bond will be required after the Contract is awarded to cover the installation period. Bid Bonds shall list the City of Sidney as Obligee and be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal has not been established for this project; however, DBEs are encouraged to review the project and consider submitting a bid. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Liquidated Damages: Substantial: $50/day; Final: $100/day. Substantial Completion Date: November 1, 2024. Final Completion Date: November 30, 2024. Any and all questions regarding the 24-10 Robert O. New Park Improvements project must be submitted electronically through Bid Express no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024. The City of Sidney reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Sidney.
