The City of Sedalia invites bids from vendors for Replacement of Return Activated Sludge Pump for the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The requirement is for a pump that is a Flygt Model 3170.090-5107; or other equivalent pump capable of using or being adapted to use the existing guide rails. All parts/supplies needed to adapt to the existing guide rails must be provided as a part of the bid. The City of Sedalia retains the right to reject any and all bids submitted, and to waive any minor irregularity contained in any proposal. The City of Sedalia reserves the right to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City. This project requires compliance with Section 285.530 RSMo in relation to employment of unauthorized aliens to perform work within the state of Missouri and the requirement for participation in a federal work authorization program (E-verify). The City of Sedalia has a requirement to replace one (1) existing Flygt Model 3170 submersible pump. The City of Sedalia will not be replacing the guide rail system and associated piping. Therefore, given existing conditions at the lift station, the City of Sedalia is requiring replacement of the Return Activated Sludge Pump of a type and size equivalent to Flygt Model 3170. PUMPS: Pump must be sufficient to meet the requirements for replacement of the existing Flygt 3170 pumps.
