**As of 5/20/2021 Project was awarded to Triple C Underground n oaward amount available. The City of Sedalia invites bids from vendors for removal and installation of 20" piping and valves at the Main St. Water Tower. This work will require the Main Street Water Tower to be taken out of service. The contractor will be responsible for providing a 25,000 gallon portable hydro-pneumatic potable water storage tank. This work will include removal of the vault lid and replacement of approximately 60 linear feet of pipe. Work will also include removal of the existing valve vault cover and plumbing from the valve vault. as well as the previously mentioned 50 linear feet of pipe buried approx. 42" below ground's surface. New plumbing fixtures similar to existing shall be installed. Upon new pipe, corporations, valves and tee installation, vault walls shall be grouted around new pipe prior to installation of cover. The outside of the response envelope, packet or e-mail subject line must clearly state IFB 2022-007-REPLACEMENT OF VALVES, TEE AND PIPE AT WATER TOWER. Any proposal received after the above stated date and time; will not be opened and will be discarded or upon request and at the expense of the bidder will be returned. The City of Sedalia retains the right to reject any and all bids submitted, and to waive any minor irregularity contained in any proposal. This project requires compliance with Section 285.530 RSMo in relation to employment of unauthorized aliens to perform work within the state of Missouri and the requirement for participation in a federal work authorization program (E-verify). The City of Sedalia in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and Regulations, hereby notifies all respondents to this request that bidders will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
