Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Winfield, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Village of Winfield is in need of Phase I and Phase II engineering services for the replacement of S.N. 022-3032, Beecher Avenue Bridge over the West Branch of the DuPage River. The existing structure is a tow (2) lane, single span bridge located 0.13 miles west of Winfield Road in DuPage County, in the Village of Winfield. The existing precast, prestressed box beam bridge is in poor condition. The scope of work is expected to involve a complete structure replacement along with room for a pedestrian path. The Village of Winfield has been approved for Surface Transportation Bridge Program (STP-Br) Funding through IDOT. Any questions on the project may be emailed to the below contact.
