Renovation of an educational facility in Winfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids shall be submitted for a single contract that will include the following: The project consists of rooftop unit replacement along with associated electrical. The contractor shall provide a base bid cost to replace RTU-4, 5, 7 & 8 and their respective controls and associated electrical. The project will also ask for alternate costs to replace the units as well as to install a central control system for the RTU's and another alternate to replace the RTU's, install a central control system for the RTU's and to extend the system to existing VAV boxes associated with these rooftops and RTU-6 which was replaced in 2018. Commencement of the Work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of Winfield School District 34. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or reject any or all bids when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interests of the Owner. Commencement of the Work will be at the Owner's discretion. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which the work is performed for each craft or type of workers or mechanic needed to execute the contract will adhere to all federal laws and laws of the state, and to all local ordinances and regulations applicable to the work hereunder, and having force of law.
