The contractor shall be required to furnish all supervision, equipment, labor, material, and all applicable licenses and permits necessary to provide for the supply, cleaning, Testing, and certification of water treatment systems serving cooling and heating Equipment, including: cooling towers, boilers, hot water systems, chillers, chemical Bypass feeders, automatic dosing pumps, and water treatment chemicals at various PGW locations. This contract shall also include water treatment remediation services. 1.2 the purpose is to maintain optimum conditions in the water to prevent corrosion And pitting of the metal surfaces. These services shall also prevent the deposit Formation on these surfaces, and provide biological control of water systems. Two (2) year contract term; with the option of two (2), one (1) year renewals Additional notes: 1) the basis of award is based on lowest responsive bidder. 2) all contractors must adhere to all requirements and standards that have been Outlined in the attached detailed scope of work/specification and all other supporting Documentation pertaining to this project. 3) all contractors must meet the specified requirements set forth in the insurance Specification attached hereto naming pgw and the pfmc as additional insured. Evidence Of current insurance coverage is to be submitted with your bid sumission. 4) all contractors must complete and return the bidder's certification form with Your bid response; imprinted with your company's corporate seal. 5) all subcontractors must be approved by PGW 6) please ensure that all required documents included in this RFQ, is completed Accordingly and submitted with your bid response. Please note that you will be deemed Non-responsive for any missing and/or incomplete required documents related to this RFQ 7) for all new contractors, please complete the attached questionnaire and Financial statement for qualifying vendors or contractors qualification questionnaire (if applicable). 8) the successful contractor shall obtain and pay for all required permits. 9) the successful contractor shall provide a written warranty/guarantee to Repair, replace and correct all defective work or materials at their own expense, at no Additional cost to pgw, until in compliance with scope of work/specification and Project requirements for one (1) year. 10) all contractors shall utilize a labor force that will not lead to any stoppages, Picketing or other labor disturbances. 11) any bidder that has had a contract with pgw terminated during the previous Three years due to breach or default may be deemed non-responsible and non-qualified For this RFQ 12) please remit all invoices electronically to appoinvoices@pgworks.Com for Electronic payment of invoices. Please see the electronic invoicing And payment requirements attached. 13) if you are a certified minority, woman, veteran, or disabled owned business, when Submitting your bid response, please be sure to include a copy of your most current Certification for verification purposes. 14) any purchase order resulting from this request for quotation is subject to Cancellation by pgw upon thirty (30) days written notice.
