The project consists of the supplying of all equipment necessary to furnish an Automated Meter Reading System for the Village of Versailles. The primary of the system is to provide accurate and timely meter reading for billing purposes and shall also furnish consumption and other pertinent data. Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the State of Ohio prevailing wage rates, various insurance requirements, and other provisions. Bids will only be accepted from bidders listed on the owner's official list of plan holders. The Owner reserves the right to reject each and every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The scope of work shall include; but is not necessarily limited to the following. 1. Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required for the providing of the specified meter reading equipment, installation of portions of the equipment on the Versailles Water Tower Locations, equipment training, field training, technical support and all other associated work needed to complete the project as per the attached specifications. 2. This is a tax exempt project. 3. Ohio State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. 4. Project is to be completed by May 31, 2023. 5. Contractor must completely fill out all accompanying bid documents and submit them along with the proposal. Failure to submit bid forms may result in the bid being disqualified. A copy of the contractor's Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Certificate is also required. 6.
