The DBE goal established for this project is 6.2% Work for which proposals are to be received is for Hangar Construction at the Darke County Airport including grading, concrete, structural steel, electrical, mechanical, and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents titled Construct/Expand Hangar. The contractor shall provide all labor,equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount stated and payable to the order of the Owner. A bid bond with good and sufficient surety issued by a company licensed to do business in the State of Ohio or a certified check on a solvent bank equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid insuring that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of its proposal secured. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price will be required. Engineer's Estimate: No bid will be awarded by the OWNER if the bid exceeds the following Engineer's Estimates by more than 20 percent.
