Renovation of a transportation facility in Versailles, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Work for which proposals are to be received is to replace the airport Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) at the Darke County Airport including procuring and installing an AWOS III P/T, and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents titled "Automated Weather Observing System Replacement". The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work. All work is located at the Darke County Airport, 9724 State Route 121, Versailles, OH 45380. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount stated and payable to the order of the Owner. A bid bond with good and sufficient surety issued by a company licensed to do business in the State of Ohio or a certified check on a solvent bank equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid insuring that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of its proposal secured. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price will be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedure.
