purchase of an 8-ton class Excavator. The excavator shall be based upon the following specifications (see full bid spec for additional details) or approved equal: 1.Operating weight between 18,000 lbs. and not more than 18,900 lbs. 2.The machine shall be track type, hydraulic excavator with rubber tracks. 3.True zero tail swing with 360A rotation. 4.Maximum digging depth shall be at least 15 ft. deep. 5.Equipped with Hydraulic backfill dozer blade. 6.Machine must have 14,000 lbs. of Digging Force. 7.Excavator shall have a swing boom (swing speed must be between 8 RPM and 9 RPM) 8.Machine must be equipped with factory pin grabber style Hydraulic Quick Coupler system for buckets & attachments aEUR" (not proprietary coupler or pin on). 9.Engine must be minimum 56.9 HP Diesel Engine or approved equal. 10.Warranty - Machine must come with a minimum factory 4 Year/4,000 Hour Warranty. 11.The following attachments shall be included: a.Thumb attachment b.18,24 and 36 excavator buckets c.Hydraulic breaker d.Hydraulic tilt bucket Uwchlan Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.
