West Whiteland Township is soliciting bids for Exton Park - Swedesford Recreation Area (Prevailing Wages Are In Effect). This project isthe first phase for the new Exton Park - Swedesford Recreation Area in West Whiteland Township. The primary work that comprises this contract is the installation of a 126-space parking lot with two new entry/exit driveways and associated traffic signage and pavement markings, construction of a 1.0-acre Infiltration Basin with a vegetated swale and associated stormwater conveyance. The work also includes landscaping, water service, sanitary sewer, a concrete plaza, asphalt walkway, rough grading of a future parking area and athletic fields (to be constructed in a later phase), as well as site lighting components. Bid-Alternate #1 work consists of the construction of a 0.65-acre Infiltration Basin with a vegetated swale. Bid-Alternate #2 work consists of the installation of landscaping items associated with Bid Alternate #1. Bid Alternate #3 is to furnish and install the parking lot lights and necessary circuitry.
