Renovation of a water / sewer project in Independence, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Design and construction of a nutrient removal systems for the Rock Creek Treatment Plant. Removal will include reductions in both nitrogen and phosphorus. The Rock Creek Treatment Plant will go through its next National Pollutant Discharge Elimination (NPDES) cycle in FY 2025. Trends indicate that maximum total daily limits will be applied for nitrogen and phosphorus, thus requiring plant improvements to achieve these reduction numbers. This project is included in the city's 2021-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
