Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Albans, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Town of St. Albans (ToSA) will be releasing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a firm to provide relocation services for the Town to relocate to the new Town Hall in early to mid-April The Town of Saint Albans is seeking a qualified vendor to provide furniture, fixtures, and equipment (excluding IT equipment) relocaon services for the new town hall project located on Georgia Shore Road along Saint Albans Bay. The move will occur from the exisng Town Hall, located at 579 Lake St, St Albans Town, VT, to the new Town Hall site located at 398 Georgia Shore Road, St. Albans Bay, VT. This move constutes a total distance of approximately .5 miles The new Town Hall will be a single story, roughly 13,000 square foot building with exterior access drives and a parking lot to accommodate 26 vehicles. The interior will include mulple public meeng spaces and a welcoming entry lobby, as well as office space for the Town Administers, the Planning and Zoning department, and the Town Assessors department. The building will also house a new cast-in-place concrete vault for vital records storage. The selected moving vendor will furnish the Town with the estimated number of boxes at a fixed fee, as estimated by each vendor and included in the attached bid sheet. The Vendor will then provide all moving services, exclusive of packing of the materials into boxes, from the existing Town Hall to the New Town Hall site. The materials to be relocated will be tagged by the Town employees with the designated room and location. The Vendor is to provide all onsite coordination to ensure the materials arrive in the desired location. The schedule for this relocation will occur in early to mid-April 2022, and must be completed in two days. Coordination with the overall construction schedule will be required, but it can be anticipated that a minimum of 10 business days notice will be provided. 2/23/2021 Tentative Award Date Questions regarding this Request for Proposals should be emailed, no later than Friday, February 18th, to Hunter Gomez at hunter@pcivt.com.
