Due to the closure of Glassboro Intermediate School, Thomas Bowe Elementary School will be re-configured as a Grade 6-8 middle school. The existing configuration is Grades 4-6. Renovations to the building will include locker room areas, science labs, prep rooms and related work. The Intermediate School closure and the re-alignments and related necessary renovation work at Dorothy Bullock ES will be submitted under separate project applications. Single Overall Contract - General Construction Work DPMC Classifications: C008 or C009 Prime with C030, C032, C047 subcontractors Due to COVID-19 virus and New Jersey Executive Orders EO107 and LFN2020-10, Contractors are required to provide their own face masks/personal protection equipment, practice social distancing and hand washing at all times and assume all risks associated with their presence on District premises. Wearing a face mask is required at all times. Construction on this project shall proceed in accordance with Executive Orders 122 and 142. Checks for disks and paper sets are payable in advance to Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C. Upon receipt of payment, disk or paper sets will be shipped, or made available for pick-up. All requests for information (RFI) must be submitted to the Architect by February 24, 2022, via facsimile at (609) 883-2694 or via common carrier to Fraytak Veisz Hopkins, P.C., 1515 Lower Ferry Road, Trenton, NJ 08618 with the Project Title and Project Number FVHD-5204A2 referenced. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids or to waive minor informalities in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Owner to do so.
