The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to upgrade the audio & video systems in the COG Boardroom. Audio Enhancements Install audio system with telephone calling capabilities Install audio system with conference recording capabilities Install a hearing-impaired system capable of RF and WiFi broadcasting to cell phone and other mobile devices. Uninstall unnecessary A/V equipment and projectors Reuse existing audio, speakers, and A/V equipment as necessary B. Video Camera Enhancements Uninstall 2 existing wall-mounted video conference cameras Install 2 new video conferencing high-resolution cameras capable of capturing and streaming conference room activities. C. Display Enhancements Removing 2 existing projection displays, and making any necessary wall repairs to support large panel displays Repair and reinforce walls to support large displays Install 2 new large displays of 80" or higher with 4K or higher resolution to support display of presentations and video. Install a room scheduler display panel at conference room's entrance Microphone Enhancements Uninstall existing gooseneck microphones Install 35 wireless desktop microphones, 2 wireless handheld microphones, and 1 podium microphone E. System Control Enhancements Install an A/V system control panel that allows for full control and central of all audio, video, microphone, speakers, and other A/V systems F. Guest Access and Virtual Conferencing Install an A/V system that supports wireless connectivity from a guest laptop Install an A/V system that support virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Zoom, and other virtual meeting platforms.
