The District of Columbia, Office of Contracting and Procurement, for and on behalf of the District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT), pursuant to the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010, and the Procurement Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability Amendment Act of 2016, is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced firms (Consultants or Offerors) interested in providing Bridge Inspection Services throughout the District of Columbia (the Project). There are approximately 212 District-owned highway bridges, 15 tunnels and underpasses and 25 pedestrian bridges in the District of Columbia. In addition to the bridges, there are numerous highway structures, such as retaining wall, culverts, and sign structures that may require inspection under this Contract, in order to ensure the safety of the traveling public. This contract will consist of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The desired outcome of this RFQ is to retain the services of an experienced and qualified consulting firm that provides the best value, to perform citywide bridge inspection services, under the direction of the Contract Administrator (CA) of DDOTs Asset Management Division. The DBE subcontracting goal for this contract is 6%.
