Renovation of a transportation facility in Fort Pierce, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Installing a new fire alarm system side-by-side to the existing Simplex 4100U fire alarm system. The existing system shall remain fully operational until the new system is installed, inspected, tested, commissioned and accepted. 2. Connecting and interfacing the new fire alarm system to the existing emergency control function interface device circuits, once the cutover plan is approved 3. Removing and replacing the existing transient voltage surge suppression. Devices (TVSS) and installing new TVSS's on fire alarm system equipment and circuits in accordance with FAA requirements. 4. Conducting a 100% acceptance test in accordance with NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code by functionally testing / operating every initiating device, notification appliance and emergency control function interface device for proper operation andannunciation. 5. Removing and demolishing off-site the existing fire alarm system equipment, conduit and wiring that is not reused. 6. Permanently securing smoke damper louvers in the open position for the two fire/smoke dampers installed as part of the stair pressurization system shaft located on the Intermediate Level 1 of the ATCT. 7. Firestopping all new penetrations made to accommodate new or removed conduits, wireways or other equipment, so that the rating of the enclosure is maintained. 8. Painting and patching in accordance with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the FAA. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for a fire alarm system replacement at the Ft. Pierce ATCT (FPR) in Fort Pierce, FL. Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal. Please note the FAR references cited in Beta.SAM are not applicable to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS). This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR. A site visit is scheduled for March 22, 2022 at 9:00a.m.. To attend the site visit please submit your name, company, and contact information to Erin Crabtree at erin.m.crabtree@faa.gov no later than end of day on March 18th, 2022. All questions regarding this SIR should be submitted in writing to Erin Crabtree at erin.m.crabtree@faa.gov. Questions are due no later than March 25th, 2022 at 1700 ET. Proposals are due no later than April 8th, 2022 at 1700 ET. Any proposal received after 1700 ET on April 8th, 2022 will be considered non-responsive and deemed ineligible for award. To be considered for award of this requirement, the offeror must have a current/valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, the offeror must submit a proposal that is in accordance with Section L and Section M of this SIR. This requirement is for a Fire Alarm System Replacement at Fort Pierce Air Traffic Control Tower (FPR) in Fort Pierce, Florida. All contractors must have an active registration in SAM (sam.gov) in order to receive award. All contractors must be in compliance with Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors in SAM, per the attached hyperlink, (https://sam.gov/opp/a34bc81db63642a6ae27089e6c86f15b/view) This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 238210 Small Business Size Standard: $16.5M The estimated Project Magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required for this requirement. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
