Site work for a mixed-use development in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work in this Contract includes the supply of all labour, materials and equipment required to construct the Spruce Grove – Downtown Streetscape (McLeod Avenue and Main Street). The project includes but is not limited to, the following work: Traffic and pedestrian accommodations and staging. Work site management including temporary construction facilities, fencing and utility coordination. Removals, excavation, and site grading. Storm drainage modifications including manholes, catch basins, and storm mainline. Sanitary relocation including mainline sanitary sewer, manhole installations, sanitary service replacements and improvements. Watermain replacement consisting of AC pipe abandonment, water service replacement and upgrades, hydrant and valve replacements. Roadway construction and asphalt paving, including granular material, various types of curb and gutter, raised crosswalks, concrete pedestrian crossings and parking zones, sidewalks, pavement markings and signage. Streetscape component consisting of concrete seat walls, pavers, sandblasted walk, and street furniture. Steel median walls and steel planter walls. Landscaping including tree planting in structural soil cells, irrigation, shrubs, perennials, and grass. Secondary electrical consisting of power distribution cabinet and cables, bench lighting and receptacles Inspections, warranty, and maintenance.
