The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation (EMLI) requires the services of a Metal Leaching/Acid Rock Drainage (ML/ARD) Technical Specialist with significant mining experience in British Columbia to review environmental protection programs, including geochemical characterization and analysis, management plans, and water quality models. This work will primarily involve detailed technical reviews of Environmental Assessments and Mines Act permit applications to assess compliance with the Health, Safety, and Reclamation Code for Mines in BC and accepted standards of practice. The work may also include compliance reviews and field inspections as well as supporting the development of guidelines and policies.
