The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources Operations, Recreation Sites and Trails BC is establishing a Select List of pre-qualified consultants / contractors specializing in recreational trail planning, assessment design AND/OR construction who may be invited to participate in subsequent direct invitation or select invitation solicitations on upcoming planning, assessment and / or design contracts. Only pre-qualified consultants / contractors will be invited to participate on these contract solicitations. Subsequent agreements may have the potential of being multi-year contracts of up to five years or option-to-renew contracts whereby the Ministry reserves the right to renew but is under no obligation to renew to a maximum of three terms. Where a multi-year or option-to-renew contract is to be tendered, all contractors on the list or within a specified, pre-disclosed category of eligibility will be invited to submit offers; contractor names will not be rotated from the Select List. The resulting Select List shall remain valid until May 15, 2025. New contractors may be added to the Select List and will be evaluated in the same manner as contractors already on the list. Additional intakes will be posted annually in February with scoring concluded by the end of March. The ministry does not guarantee evaluation and resulting short-listing of contractors wishing to compete on issued tenders. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
