North Shore Hall, located at 675 Whitmore Road, Nelson, BC, offers 2,360 square feet of multi-purpose space. With seating for 140 attendees, North Shore Hall is well positioned to host events, gathering, meetings, programs and training sessions. North Shore Hall has undergone extensive renovations in recent years and the Regional District of Central Kootenay is interested in adding an audio system that will allow even more opportunity for facility utilization. Key considerations for the audio system include: Must provide sound coverage for entire main hall. Must provide high quality sound that is appropriate for dances, presentations, and speeches. Must provide built-in protection for audio system components. May include wall orfloor mounted security box(s) Must provide a minimum of one wireless microphone with range to cover all areas of main hall space. Must provide a minimum of two connection points for users to connect wireless/wired audio devices such as laptop, phone, tablet, external mixing board, etc. Audio system should provide ease of use and prevent public users from adjusting equalizer settings and system connections. Audio system set up/system should be compatible for a variety of event set up configurations.
