Site work and paving for a civil project in Nelson, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The objective of this contract is to construct 2.75km's of new Forest Service Road based on a Geometric Road Design and field control measures. The project is located approximately 57km's north of Kaslo BC A total of 2.75 km of NEW road construction including all phases of operations: felling and removal of right-of-way timber, grubbing, stripping, subgrade construction, end haul, drill and blast rock, installation of culverts and final grading of the new construction sub grade; Snow plowing to be performed, as required All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.KootenayTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 pm on August 28, 2023. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by August 29, 2023. Project Completion Date: June 30, 2024. Contract Termination Date: November 30th 2024 Award is subject to final approval.
