This contract provides for demolishing, removal, or abandoning all existing hard surfaces and utilities on East 2nd Street and V Street, as noted on the plans. In addition, the contractor shall furnish and install all items shown on the plans excluding work by others. These items include but are not limited to pervious cement concrete roadway and sidewalk, subgrade preparation and site grading, stormwater utilities, water main replacement, illumination system, asphalt restoration, associated planting areas and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The work under the contract shall be fully completed within 120 Working Days. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
