Site work and paving for a civil project in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This contract provides for the improvement of streets within the City of Vancouver including pavement repairs, planing of roadways, paving of existing roads, minor utility adjustments, temporary striping, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The contract work shall be fully complete within 50 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed date. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
