Site work for a water / sewer project in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 1386 lineal feet of 6-inch HPDE and 19 lineal feet of 6-inch ductile iron pressurized sewer force main. The sewer will be installed within the existing City of Vancouver rightof-way as shown on the plans and specified herein. This work will also include epoxy lining one existing manhole, installing a flow meter and vault and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The contract work shall be fully complete within 25 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
