The work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the retrofitting of two (2) bioretention basins. This includes the installation of approximately 740 linear feet of perforated PVC underdrain, 1,650 cubic yards of amended soils, and various stormwater structures. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of ten percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only those questions submitted online via PennBID shall be considered. Questions received after 4:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022 regarding the project will not be acknowledged. This contract is subject to the following: PA Prevailing Wage Rates; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) Conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; the Non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; requirement of a non-collusion affidavit; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Lycoming County Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. Project location: One (1) bioretention basin north of Matthews Boulevard and one (1) bioretention basin south of Matthews Boulevard, both located between Poke Alley and Curtin Street in South Williamsport, PA 17702.
