Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

This contract consists of the renovation of an existing baseball facility at Bechtel Park. The anticipated work involved in this contract includes but is not limited to the removal and disposal of existing fencing, vegetation, and infield surfaces. The contract includes the supply and installation of new fencing and dugouts, accessible parking, concrete and asphalt paving, site grading, sodding, planting and irrigation works. Additional work may be added as budgets are available. The project will occur in conjunction with the demolition of 2 buildings on site as well as the renovation of 1 building on site. Demolition and renovation of current buildings will be done outside of this contract and all effort will be made to prevent the projects from overlapping. Bidders are asked to provide proof of ability in the form of examples of prior projects conducted by bidder that are similar to the Bechtel diamond renovation project. Once award, the project is set to begin May 2, 2022 and substantial completion to be Oct 31, 2022. Contractors are to be aware that no work is to be done on Sundays. This site is a high traffic site for park patrons. All effort must be taken to ensure site safety at all times for patrons of the park as other elements of the park will remain open during construction.
