Site work for a water / sewer project in Clint, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of March 16 2022, the project will rebid in the future. Estimated budget: $400,000 - $450,000 The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction and installation of the following work: The installation of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sewer pipe (SDR-35, P.V.C.); approximately 3-48-inch diameter manholes; 2-48-inch diameter drop manholes; 1 - 48-inch diameter cast in place manhole; 28 vertical feet of additional manhole depth; 2 - 48-inch Existing manhole liner installation; 1 - 60-inch Existing manhole liner installation; 6 - 48-inch New manhole liner installation; 4 - 4-inch diameter sanitary sewer service lateral, 3 - 6-inch diameter sanitary sewer service lateral; sanitary sewer yardline installation and septic tank decommissioning hot mix asphaltic removal and replacement; existing concrete irrigation ditch removal and replacement; 3- ft wider header curb removal and replacement; trench safety; dewatering; videotaping of project site before and after construction; and a traffic control plan. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the amount bid. The Successful Bidder states he or she must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Payment Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and the General Conditions. By submission of the bid. Bidder fully understands the requirements ot the Contract Documents and agrees to comply with all requirements thereof. The Lower Valley Water District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Lower Valley Water District for a period not to exceed 10 days from the date of the bid opening for tne purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. The Lower Valley Water District (LVWD) adheres to the Cone of Silence policy which prohibits any communication regarding the bid between potential bidders (ana subcontractors) and LVWD Board Members, Staff, and assigned Consulting Engineers. The provisions do not apply to oral communications with Purchasing Agent or Administrative Analyst, provided the communications is limited strictly to matters of process or procedure already contained in the solicitation document, oral communications at pre-bid conferences, or communications in writing (email preferred) submitted to the Administrative Analyst in response to inquiries regarding the bid. In addition to any other penalties provided by law, violation of the Cone of Silence by any bidder shall render that bidder's bid voidable. Any person having personal knowledge of a violation of these provisions shall report such violations to the LVWD General Counsel and/or the Purchasing Agent in writing. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
