This is an Agreement in which the Contractor shall perform Fire Suppression System Upgrade Services. The Contractor will be compensated for the services in accordance with the Lump Sum service rate specified on Exhibit B-1, Public Works Rate Sheet; which shall include all labor, insurance, bonds, licenses, travel and per diem, materials, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment (including rental), training of key institution personnel and every other item of expense necessary to provide the services for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), California State Prison - Solano (SOL), located at 2100 Peabody Road, Vacaville, CA 95696. Bidder's security of bid bond, cash, cashier's check or certified check in the amount of at least 10 percent of the base bid must accompany this proposal. If bid bond is used as security, it is to be executed on the appropriate form attached to this proposal. The bond must be executed by an admitted surety insurer. Progress payments are permitted on Agreements in the amount of $10,000 or more with a total term that is in excess of three months. If progress payments are indicated in the Agreement documents, a faithful performance bond in the sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the Agreement is required. Payments will not exceed ninety percent (90%) of the Agreement amount. Any funds so withheld may be paid upon completion of the project. Any Contractor who has been terminated from an Agreement by the State within the last two (2) fiscal years due to poor performance may be rejected on the basis of nonresponsibility.
