**As of April 8, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $373,620.20.** The project scope includes constructing drainage improvements, approximately 550 linear feet of HDPE storm pipe, stormwater manholes and catch basins, milling and resurfacing of roads in Montville Township, repairs to and reconstructing existing drainage inlets, curb repairs, traffic striping and installing NJDOT compliant inlet hardware. Base bid includes approximately 12,800 square yards of 2-inch mill and 1,700 tons of 9.5M64 surface course; an Alternate bid item makes the total mill and resurface of approximately 16,00 square yards of 2-inch mill and 2,200 tons of 9.5M64 surface course. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, it is highly encouraged to contact the office of the Township Engineer to schedule a bid package pickup time. Bids or proposals shall be made on the forms provided and attached to the specifications which shall be submitted intact and otherwise must conform to the general instructions, specifications, terms and conditions. Bid proposals must be placed in sealed opaque envelopes addressed to the Township of Montville, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, New Jersey 07045 and marked clearly on the outside of the envelope BID DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED, 2022 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the Township.
