ANY PERSON REQUIRING SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS SHALL NOTIFY THE ORLEANS PARISH SCHOOL BOARD OF THE TYPE(S) OF ACCOMMODATION REQUIRED NOT LESS THAN SEVEN (7) DAYS BEFORE THE BID OPENING. FOR: Frederick Douglass High School Hurricane Ida Phase 2 Repairs 3820 St. Claude Ave. New Orleans, LA 70117 All Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and all Alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or the Orleans Parish School Board Bid Bond Form written by a surety company licensed to do business in Louisiana, signed by the suretys agency or attorney-in-fact. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount. Liquidated Damage - the Contractor and the Contractor's Surety shall be liable for and shall pay to the Owner Liquidated Damages, which shall not be considered a penalty, in the amount of 100% of the daily rate stated above, or $250.00 per calendar day, for each calendar day (Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays included) that the Contractor fails to complete the Punch List beyond ten (10) days from the date of Substantial Completion.
