Question Deadline: Fri Mar 4, 2022 5:00 PM (CST) All bids submitted are to be valid for sixty (60) calendar days The scope ofwork for this Project shall include, but not be limited to: Demolition and Replacement ofExisting East and West Solids Contact Clarifier Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Weirs and hardware; Leveling of existing radial launders; and Inspection and select recoating of existing radial launders and effluent flumes. COMPLETION TIME: January 15th, 2023. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Submittal Form provided in accordance with the Contract Documents, Drawings, and Specifications as prepared by Black & Veatch. Bidders shall use complete sets ofthe Bid Documents in preparing their Bids. The City assumes no responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use ofincomplete sets ofBid Documents. A certified check or cashier's check payable to the City ofBloomington, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a licensed surety company must also accompany the Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) ofthe toted Bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the Bidder fail to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond within ten (10) days after the award ofthe contract. Stat. 16C.285, Responsible Contractor, are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids ofthe City shall comply with the provisions ofthe statute. Per Minn. Stat. 326B.701, unless exempt, any Person, as defined by Minn. Stat. 181.723, subd. 1(a), who performs public or private construction services must register with the Department ofLabor and Industry (DLI).
