2022 Manhole Rehabilitation 1. Rehabilitation of approximately 500 Vertical Linear Feet (VLF) of Sanitary Sewer Manhole with 3/4 inch-thick Cementitious Liner. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the Village of Shorewood equal to 5% of the largest possible total Bid. The successful Bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within 10 days after the Award shall cause the bid bond or check to be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages in accordance with Section 62.15(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. A recommendation will be made to the Village Board at its meeting on March 21, 2022. Award will be made to the lowest and most responsible Bidder. The Village of Shorewood reserves the right to accept any Bid most advantageous to the Village, waive any technicality, or reject any or all Bids. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening date without the consent of the Village. Contractors MUST be Pre-Qualified prior to placing a Bid in accordance with Section 00 45 13. Submit prequalification information a minimum of 5 days prior to the Bid opening. Pre-Qualification:Yes
