**As of April 14, 2022.The Project has been awarded to Unique Plumbing Co. for the awarded amount of $56, 248.37.** The Contractor and Subcontractors shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The scope of work includes the work necessary to improve and rehabilitate numerous sections of combined or sanitary sewer pipe in the Village of La Grange Park. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of La Grange Park for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. All work for this project must be completed by April 30th, 2022. The contractor shall be paid in cash for the work to be performed on this project. This improvement shall include, but not be limited to, sewer lateral repairs, main-line sewer repairs, restoration, and other necessary work to properly complete this project in accordance with the specifications and bidding documents. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond or a cashier's check or certified check, made payable to the Village of La Grange Park in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid bond or check. The Village of La Grange Park reserves the rights to determine the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, to waive technicalities and to reject any and all bids. $1,500.00 per calendar day beyond the specified completion dates.
