**As of July 12, 2022, project was awarded to Eastern Highway Specialists, Inc., awarded amount is $166,015 ($166,014.50) ** Bridge maintenance work including concrete repairs, asphalt crack sealing, and asphaltic plug joint installation at two bridges in Manheim Township The Commissioners of Manheim Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Manheim Township. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Manheim Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. No in-stream work shall be performed from March 1st to June 15th due to stocked trout restrictions. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247.
