Renovation of an educational facility in Harlingen, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is issuing this RFP to solicit qualified contractors for the purpose of replacing the roof at the Las Palmas Dorms on the Harlingen campus located at 1902 N Loop 499, Harlingen, TX 78550. Question Submission Close Date 2/25/2022 10:00 AM CST Scope of Work: Full tear off of old roof system; remove existing gravel and dispose of it properly Inspection of the deck boards and replacement of any damaged decking and or beams. Install 1” high-density board with 3” insulation plates. . A 60 mil TPO membrane will be mechanically fastened with #14 HPX screws and 2” seam plates. The plumbing pipes and roof drains will be finished with TPO accessories. The penetrations to be finished with pitch-pans and pourable sealer. The job site will be kept clean on a daily basis. All debris to be removed from the job site. The roof needs to be warrantied for a minimum of five years. As built drawings to be provided upon completion Manufacturer’s inspection report to be provided. Roof consultant’s final completion inspection report to be provided
